if i delete something will it still take up space on my pc if its in..

    Actually simply deleting something on a PC does not really remove it, it just marks the space to be over-written as needed, all the code is still there, the only real way to remove/over-write data is to use one of the options in this guide at the link below.

    That is why I stipulated for practical purpose its gone. It is still there in the $Recycle Bin to be wrote over if I remember correctly. You can empty the $Recycle Bin or Clean the free space and get rid of it. I do that after cleaning out a virus. It would take forever on todays very large drives.

    Practice a lot to be sharp deleter, no mistakes should be made on deleting.

    i always check the file i want to delete twice before shift delete
