How's this for weird

My internet suddenly disconnected, scratched head, did checks through windows troubleshooter, none found. Then I found that the network card has been disabled by windows, it would not let me repair install/new/delete install, had to go through safe mode to delete drivers, rebooted, reinstalled drivers problem fixed. No idea why.

use malwarebytes/superANTIspyware and try to clean, could be something trying to infect/use your internet as a host for a virus

I wasn't even downloading at the time, just browsing this forum when it happened, well so far no a problem since I uninstalled vb. Have full done full scans with a number of proggys, nothing found, as I said problem seems fixed.
