How can I disable Folder Content Preview but not Pictures Thumbnails?

Hi, I need your help. Please guide me through this trouble. I searched the web but I could not find anything useful.

I need to have folder content preview disabled on my machine but I still need to have pictures as thumbnails instead of icons. What do I need to do?

Please note checking "Always show Icons, never thumbnails" wont help because it applies to Picture Files as well.

    Thank you in advance!

Because I have lots of folders full of document files (.txt, .php, .tpl). By the way I need to search among unnamed picture files by windows explorer.

That really makes my computer slow when explorer is trying to find out what is in folders. Is there anyway to have something like windows XP? Disable/Enable thumbnails for specified folder and not globally?

On the other hand, I have vision trouble and don't like "Details List View or small folder icons".

Hello Thomasons, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Sorry, but thumbnail previews is an all on or all off type setting.
Since you wanting to be able to see the pictures, you might see if turning on the preview pane in Windows Explorer may help so that you will a preview of any selected image in it.
    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

That's by design, so there will most likely be no fix.
