    Bulk File Name Change

I have 860 .pdf files. The file names are "Map1234", "Map1235", etc. There are gaps in the number sequence that might complicate things.
I need to remove the word "Map" from each file name. Can it be done?
(Of course, I can do it one by one, but I probably won't live that long.) :)

That looks to be exactly what I need. Too late to try it tonight, but I will try tomorrow.
    Thanks very much.

And it was exactly what I needed. I opened a folder with 215 files I needed to remove the word "map" from the title. I did CTRL-A (selected all files), clicked "RENAME". and they were all changed in an instant. WOW! I'm impressed.
    Thanks again.
