Windows 7 wont boot
I have a dual boot system Vista Business/Windows 7 pro 64. The other day it froze while booting into win7. This is a laptop, so i had to remove bat. Then tried to reboot. It wont reboot. I can boot into vista just fine. I can access all files in win 7 partition. HD has tested fine. Win tring to boot into win 7, the windows error recovery screen comes up and says
"windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. If windows files have been damaged or configured incorrectly, Startup repair can help diagnose and fix the problem. If power was interupted during startup, choose start windows normally."
It wont start normally, and if I choose startup repair, is says choose operating system to start. When I choose win7 it come right back to windows error recovery. Just a never ending cycle. I want to see if I can fix windows 7 without a complete restore. I dont want to loose installed programs.
Thanks
