When will Windows 7 SP2 come out?

Is it because windows 7 is more secure then other OS's

Microsoft is not going to make Windows 7 better with a SP-2 when they are trying to sell you Windows 8.

They are being fixed with the updates. An SP is basically, just total updates and some small changes.

There have been updates in the past two months. Manually check for updates in Windows Updates by clicking Check for Updates in the left pane.
