    Won't shutdown even by mainting off button on laptop.


    An application crashed, I tried to kill it with ctrl alt del, but win7 freezes.

    On my laptop, I tried to maintain the power off button for 5 sec, but win7 enters in session save state.

    Only method is to remove the battery?

Hi. I upgraded to windows 7 home premium a month ago from Vista. Ever since then, when I try to shut my laptop down, it only hibernates (ie: the power button flashes slowly). Then, when I start up in the morning, my battery is dead or almost dead. I have tried shutting down various ways...
