    Ubuntu after Windows 7

    Hi All

I just wanted to know the difference in performance comes when we install two different OS in one machine, here Linux and Windows. Performance with respect to start up time , shutdown time and processing.

Presently I am using win-7, how can I install Ubuntu with it ? Also in which drive it is good to install Ubuntu ?? Do it requires a different dedicated drive partition, or can we install in the same drive as win 7.

    regards

Here's a pretty good guide but if you are new to Ubuntu you might like to burn it to a CD and run it from the CD. Later when you get more familiar with it you can then do a dual install.
