    Menushowdelay

In XP and Vista I always change the menushowdelay registry setting to get rid of the wait time when opening menus. It saves time and the operating system feels much faster when this is changed. I use 0 in XP and 1 in Vista, but when I changed it in Windows 7 it really didn't seem to make a difference. The start menus might open slightly faster than before, but are still nowhere near instant like I can get in XP and Vista. I like being able to navigate to things quickly without having to wait. Anyone have any insight about this?

Only that it works the same as in Vista, at least for me. Here's Brink's tutorials on it as well as another one of his for the taskbar preview windows.
