How do I make shortcuts to control panel?

I would like to have a shortcut on my desktop that goes straight to the uninstall a program area of the control panel.

What worked for me was to go into the Control Panel and right click Programs and Features. From the menu select "Create shortcut". It should place a shortcut to the uninstaller right on your desktop (at least that's how I do it for any .cpl shortcut I want on the desktop).

I searched on the Tutorial page and found the above.

You can do the same for other Shortcuts that you may need or search Google.

    Go through em

Open an explorer window. Paste this into the address bar:

    "%SystemRoot%\System32"
    (without the quotes)

    Then enter

    "*.cpl"
    (without the quotes)

    ...into the search bar.

This should list a few common control panel items though their filenames are kinda ambiguous.
