    Windows 7 installation problem


    So here is the story,i bought a Samsung NP-RV513-A03SR laptop and i want to install windows 7 on it,but when i try to install it,it won't start.
    I tried to set in bios to boot first from cd but again nothing
    Please help!

    Did you get a message saying:

    CD/DVD press any key etc, whilst booting up?

    Welcome L11t to the windows 7 forums.

    Windows 7 comes on a DVD. Are you sure that your samsung has a DVD drive?
    Also, It looks like your laptop is not a US product.

    More info would be helpful.

    Also, press the space bar when it gets just past the bios screen to start from DVD.
    And, are you sure that your Windows 7 disk is a MS product that is bootable and not
    an upgrade which might not be bootable.?

    Where did you get your windows 7 dvd ????

    Are you saying it didn`t come with an Operating system installed ???

    Yes he have a DVD,I just bought the windows 7 disk and i'm sure that is an MS product and that it is bootable

    I bought the laptop without OS,i bought the cd with the Laptop
    so i think it is working

    Once again, Windows 7 does not come on a cd. Are you choosing to boot from dvd drive ?

    Take it back and ask the seller to start the install for you.

    Yes i'm choosing to boot from DVD i set in bios primary boot to CD then to Hard Disk

    Is the DVD in bootable condition, I know it came with the laptop, but still it could have been damaged?

    Check the condition of the DVD (:
