    Recycle bin question


    Hi everyone. I am not sure whether this question is going sound dumb or what. Nevertheless , I will still ask.

    Is it possible to remove the Recycle Bin icon from the desktop , and pin it to the taskbar instead ?

    ..or i prefered to put it in my explorer favourites, to avoid cluttering my taskbar with rubbish (or trash for our western friends)...

    of course, it's up to you...

I have tried to change the recycle bin icon (full and empty) which works - sort of. But the empty icon doesn't change to full when I throw something away. The icon doesn't change. It only changes when the system reboots. Have I missed something? Doctor.
