You could even try just searching Google?????????
I just typed in SPEEDbit.com removal and the following site glared at me.
Does this help?
Completely Uninstall Home.speedbit.com From Homepage, Remove Home.speedbit.com Hijacker Step by Step | removemalwarespyware
Have you downloaded any video or download accelerators? A quick google search shows they offer download accelerators and also a SPEEDbit.com Search (powered by BOSS). I'm not going to click on that link!
Search your computer and registry for the term BOSS.
Wow! willythecat you are fast! Looks like I should have looked closer at google!
Did a search found emboss only.
And yes I did
downloaded any video or download accelerators. What a mistake it was recommended on another forum
Thanks.
Have you tried the link willythecat posted.
Do a google search for "uninstall speedbit.com search". Lots of people with your same problem.
take a look at Windows Admin Blog: Remove speedbit search from IE and Firefox
Did you ever git rid of that search engine? If not go just to the left of Google and tick on the little multi colored puppy foot. Go down to Manage Search Engines and tick on it. Then remove what ever search engine you want to. That thing you got should be listed there.
Yea thanks for that info,I have done that no luck.Been digging through it last night its got itself into google chrome settings somehow.
