I was dumb and uninstalled the .net updates from 2009 thinking I
Could free up about a gig of memory on old updates. I was wrong.
I have tried to do a system restore but the same issues occur. No safe mode
But I can open up cmd prompt. My second laptop is down at the moment on power issues. Lemme know what to do. Oh and idk where the windows install disk is :-(

Secondary laptop is online again. Would I be able to download and install the .net infrastructure via cd?

Must be something more severe than uninstalling Net Framework. Try Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot.

You may be forced to do the Clean Reinstall or run Factory Recovery but everything is provided to obtain and maintain a perfect install if you keep with the tools and methods given.

I hope not. I had a lot of photos from my Afghanistan deployment.

Both the Troubleshooting tutorial and the Clean Reinstall tutorial linked in it have methods to rescue your files from unbootable Win7.

Just be sure to follow the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to obtain and maintain a perfect reinstall. Don't install any other tools like Reg Cleaners which mess up Win7. Everything needed is in the tutorial.
