Thank you everyone! Actually I'm quite certain that I want to install ubuntu on this computer because I have already tried and install in another Samsung laptop and I love it (haha ). But this time with the Fujitsu laptop it looks a bit different in disk management, and getting a bigger drive is not an option for me right now (sadly... ), so I came here to get advice from you guys :)
For this laptop, the windows 7 installed was an upgrade so it has a separate recovery disk.
I was thinking of changing the D drive to logical drive too, I can just do it right? (like will it affect the boot system?)
Thanks! :)
Then I don't see why you don't just Wipe the drive completely and start fresh with the install of Win 7, that is if you even plan on using Windows, and then your Ubuntu install. Making the HDD partitions whatever you like in the process.

First sorry for bad english.
I am using Hitachi hard disk (Hitachi HDS721050CLA SCSI Disk Device) which has actual size of 466 GB, on windows 7. When i assembled PC from retailer he made three partitions of size C=151, D=152, E=162 GB. I had no idea about partitions at that time.
Now I understand...
Whats the difference between primary partition and extended partition?
I want to use two partitions on one drive. One for OS and the other for data. Which partition is better for data?
Thank you.
In my dell studio 1555 I inadvertently delete some registry files so through PC restore I have reinstall win 7 Home Premium .
I have got the problem in creating new Volume.
Before PC restore process I have already made 142 GB as "Free Space" and 146 GB in C:/ Drive of 320GB SATA HD.
Now...
I know how to create volumes, but in W7 I find no option to create an extended volume in Disk Management. There is Simple Volume, Spanned Volume, Striped Volume, Mirrored Volume and Raid 5 Volume (grayed out), but none of these seem to include an extended volume...how can it be made?
