    Windows 7 key issues


    I am changing from vista ultimate 64, to windows 7 ultimate 64 and when im asked for a key its not working, i just need a 30 day key or a way to get it to work, till i get my real key in the mail any idea why its not working?

    No keys other than those officially supplied by Microsoft will activate the RTM (retail) versions of Windows 7 - Not entering any key will provide 30 days grace before the key must be entered

    you can install it without a key and use it for up to 90days, after the first 29days you just run "slmgr.exe /rearm" from a command line.

    120 days. 30 + 3 re-arms of 30 each.

    But Don't rearm it until the 29th day, that way you will have
    a longer time with windows 7.
