    Having problems opening some Control Panel Topics


    I am having diffiuclty opening some topics in the Control Panel. I have Window 7 64 bit os.

    For example, when I click on Network and Sharing Center, there is no response. When I click on Device and printer, there is no response. When I click on display, I can open the Display window.

    Prion to that I uninstall a Monitor software, MaxiVista Ver. 4.0, and when I tried to reinstall it, it will not reinstall. I am not sure whether this is a related event.

    I tried to open Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore, and it will not open.

    Welcome to Seven Forums win7wudt. I would start with running the System File Checker 1st. See if it finds and corrects any issues. It may need to be run 3 times as noted if it finds and cannot correct any problems. Report back and we can go further as necessary. This could potentially be the behavior of an infestation as well.

Hello all, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to to put this thread. Moving on, I've been having problems with my control panel. When I click control panel from my start menu it goes blank, and on other pages of control panel it says "the page failed to load." I've tried sfc /scannow but...
