Do you have any Trend anti-virus or anti-malware installed?

Have you done a thorough anti-malware scan with something like Malwarebytes?

Google seems to report something to do with Trend Micro Systems.

EDIT - ignatzatsonic beat me to it.

Are you sure the PC didn't come with something from Trend Micro pre-installed for A/V?

If it did, and you didn't uninstall it before installing Security Essentials, you may be running 2 A/V's !

I would, and use MSE instead. I'd add Malwarebytes--it does not interfere.

But I don't know if that message means a conflict, a virus, a malfunction, or??

Do you knowingly have any Trend product installed?

I certainly would NOT run both Trend and Microsoft Security Essentials, and would lean toward the latter.

You said you bought a new PC but gave no details as to what kind, where you got it, etc.
You should update your PC specs in SF.

Hopefully your PC documentation would tell you what is installed with the new PC.
If you do have 2 A/V's, i would do the uninstall from SAFE-MODE boot-up.
