This is still happening. I have no clue on how to fix this.
I even did some google research, but most people that have this problem actually have overheating problems.
I did find, however, that whenever my computer crashes, i get a WMI error in the event log. Not sure how those are related.
This is what it says:
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
HI Alex,
I have found a link which may help you in solving the problem related to your event log.Give it a try. :)
Event ID 10 error every boot
Now that i check it again, the WMI error is doesn't coincide with the restart time.
So i was considering formatting my PC. I really don't want to go through all the trouble jsut to find out that it wasn't the problem.
Alright. It isn't an OS Problem, as it just turned off on me while i was configuring the BIOS. I am stumped.
I was just about to suggest a Repair Install instead of a clean install. But now we know it's not the OS!
Try to reset the bios to default.
Remove any internal or external drives except your boot drive. And disconnect any USB devices.
I still think you need to have the PSU checked out or replaced.
