Q: "Frequent" folders shown for Explorer in Taskbar

When I right-click the Explorer icon in my Task bar I get a list of Frequent folders.

I would like to ask a few questions:
    (a) What are the criteria for adding a folder to the list? As far as I can recall I have only accessed one folder on the list once or twice. And other folders that I access more often are not there.

    (b) How can I suppress the whole section? I see that I can remove individual entries from the list, but how about the whole lot?

    (c) I don't recall seeing this before applying some Windows Updates. Was it an Update or did I just not notice it before?

    a) Not sure

    b) Right click on Start orb > Properties > Start menu button > Customize > See picture below

    c) It is always there. You must have missed it before.

OK, thank you for the info.

So "Jump Lists" refer to the lists to the right of the recent programs in the Start Menu AND to the lists when I right-click a Taskbar icon? I was looking in the Taskbar window for the setting.

But if I set that value to 0 I will not see my recently-opened items for the Start Menu programs. I'll mark this thread as "Solved" as I have the answer, but that method is not suitable for me.
    So that is not

And, most (all?) of the other programs show the "Recent" items that were opened. Explorer shows the "Frequent" folders. (PS Since my first post, I have opened a brand new .zip file twice; it is now listed in the "Frequent" section !)

PPS I now think that the Explorer right-click menu shows recently-visited folders too, not frequently-visited folders, so the menu section label is incorrect.
