Freezing computer with corrupted C Drive leads to a deleted partition?

    I'm downloading the Debian Live iso right now, it says it's going to take an hour. Thank you for all of your help, I'm so in your debts it's not even conceivable. I'll write my progress when I actually finish the clean installation, hopefully it won't freeze, but if it does, hands off the power button, right?

    If it freezes for more than an hour, I'd say it's safe to push it. But, that's just me.

    It should be fine - that clean installation tutorial is flawless, but post back here if you need help.
