    New problem


    Hi all I have a problem that just started a few days ago I can be on the comp doing anything ,gamming bf3 2 hs no broblem ...but when i just let it idle it well restart ramdomly all my power settings are set to never shut down and one time I was playing music an wmp for 1 hr, I moved the mouse and it stoped playing and my desk top icons wher gone and no task bar at the bottom ,back ground pic was still their, I restart its fine as long as I keep doing something on it the only thing I did was instal the new nvidia driver a week ago... I allways get the strang problems

    Were you having a problem with the old Nvidia driver? If not, remove the new driver and install the old driver.

    I suspect it is the NVidia drivers you installed. I installed them yesterday and had multiple problem with my system that normally runs great. I Reimaged the drive back to the 23rd of September, last time I made an image, and haven't had problems since.

    would a nvidia driver do this? make a computor restart when its idling

    Anythings possible, do you download without scanning before you open ?

    Do a restore to b4 your problems started.

    scan what i just downloaded driver from nvidia and have not done a restore
