Thanks for the welcome Brink, and a quick reply! I had previously looked at your posts for the jump list settings, I could not resolve my problem. I have attached the start menu screens for your preview. As you can seen my display recently opened programs check box is grayed out. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry JW, but the tutorial I posted above is not for Jump Lists. Did you merge the REG file in step 2 of OPTION ONE in the tutorial and restart the computer to see if was enabled afterwards?

JW,

Ok. Check in Default Programs to set the reg file extension to have it's Current Default program set as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe). Afterwards, try merging the REG file again to see if it's there.

Solved, .reg files were set to open with, "notebook". I appreciate your help Brink, you have been most helpful.
