Microsoft change permission message
How do I get rid of the Microsoft change permission message?
How do I get rid of the Microsoft change permission message?
Are you referring to the UAC prompt? I don't recommend it, but its up to you:
User Account Control - UAC - Change Notification Settings
Yesi it pops up every time I run Microsft Live Mail. I didn't know not to use it!
Can you be more specific? I tried to run :spac: but Run couldn’t find it and neither could widnows explorer
Hello Herm,
When you are prompted by UAC like below, you would just click on Yes to allow the program to run as administrator (elevated). This is why you are getting a UAC prompt since the program is set to run as administrator. :)

I think my user account is set up to log me on as a administrator and ny user account shows this but when I click on yes I keep getting the same UAC permission message. I was forced to turn notifications off. Your tutorial was instructive but what do I do if a program doesn’t have a shortcut but is pinned to the taskbar.
No problem Herm. I added OPTION THREE in the tutorial below for if it's pinned to the taskbar. :)
Run as Administrator
