Is this the way to delete a program completely from the registry?
Hello I need help deleting programs from the registry/pc completely this are the steps that I been following I don't know if they are correct! That's why I'm here for help. Could someone please let me know if these are the correct steps to delete a program correctly from the registry/pc.
This are the steps that I follow! In This example I’m going to be Deleting Freemake video downloader!
1. First uninstall the program from programs and features !
2,Go to start type regedit press enter. The Registry Editor opens up with Computer highlighted
3. Nex go to Edit choose find and type the name of the program tha you want to delete completely in this example Freemake video downloader than click find nex.
4, Now the registry starts scanning the registry for Freemake video Downloader when it finds registry entries of freemake video downloader delete them!
5.Than go to Edit again and select find nex and when the registry finds more entries of Freemake video downloader delete them.
6.Follow step 4 until you get the message that says” Finished searching through the registry”
7.Now go into C: drive and delete any freemake video downloader folders.
Is this the correct way to delete a program completely from the registry/pc?
