Vertical Icon Spacing with Dual Monitors

I've been looking on how to fix this problem for quite a bit, but nobody seems to have quite the right answer, so I thought I would ask. After I got a second monitor (exact same monitor), the vertical icon spacing changed on the primary monitor. I noticed that this changes when I have the taskbar on the primary, but not on the secondary. I have three pictures attached to describe what I am trying to get and what is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

First picture: What I used to have
Second picture: What I currently have
Third picture: What I want the spacing to be like without having to move the taskbar

Hello TehShew, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if adjusting the icon spacing (vertical) size in advanced appearance settings may be able to get it back to what you wanted without moving the taskbar. It may take a little playing with to get it just right though.

    Hope this helps, :)

I've tried that before and it seems to overcompensate. The first picture is with height 43 and the second is with 44.

The only thing that changed was the second monitor. I'm not really sure why the icons moved around, but it started right after the second monitor was hooked up and no other changes happened before that.

I found a solution to my problem. Download and install Ultramon. It gives you a taskbar on every monitor, which makes the icons act as they used to. It's also a helpful program in general, so I recommend it to anyone with multiple monitors.
