    1 PC with 2 screens and 2 mice ?

Hi, since I have two screens connected to my PC anyway, I wonder now whether two people could use one PC at the same time, using two different USB mice.

One person would play Mah-Jong on one screen while the other person would use the internet on the other screen.

    I think it's called mutliseat.

    Thank you

Multiseat = 1 PC and 2 indepenent mice

Hi, multiseat is the term for more than 1 person using 1 PC at the same time.

Example .. my PC has two screens connected.
When a friend comes over, he should be able to play Mah Jong on one screen, while I surf the internet on the other.

There are software solutions available that enable you moving two independent mouse pointer at the same time.
But only one mouse pointer can drag & drop at a time.

Here are some examples already existing, but either it's not true multiseat or you need multiple graphics cards.

    1. Free 2-User version of Userful Multiplier - 2 users from 1 computer
    Only works with Linux

    2. CPNMouse : Multiple Mice in Windows
Buggy (wheel issue) and not true multiseat

    3. Control one computer with multiple keyboards and mice
Not true multiseat, although developers working on a solution.

    4. Thin Client Software, Linux Thin Client, RDP Client, RDP Software, Linux RDP, Terminal Services
    Need multiple graphics cards

Does anyone know anything better ?

    Thank you

Since yesterday I've been searching for options about a solution as described above. Multi mouse pointer solutions are available and I would like to provide a couple more just for completeness:

    Dual Mouse & keyboard
    Multi Mouse
    Multi-Touch Vista

All is good thinking but one thing defies all this multiseat configuration is that Windows is only capable of working with one focused window at the time, so if user 2 with another keyboard and mouse wants to use Chrome for example and user 1 wants to work in Excel it's impossible to have concurrent work. Only either window can be focused.
