Anybody know of a way I can redirect the "Shift-Delete" shortcut to just normal "Delete"?
Or just disabling that shortcut.
Because I have a very bad habit of deleting files permanently, and deleting very important files by accident, and I've tried multiple file recovery techniques.

When you hit shift-delete you are asked if you want to permanently delete the file.
Just hit delete and you will be asked if you want to send the file to the Recycle Bin. If you later need a file you sent to the Recycle Bin you can restore it later if needed.

Stupid Windows trick: disable shift + delete to avoid accidental obliterationsHere's an easy way to break it: make your computer forget what shift+delete is supposed to do. Grab AutoHotkey (free), and then create a new script using the following text:
+Delete::
KeyWait Shift
Send {Delete}

Sorry but disabling that key combo is not what you should be doing. Stopping yourself from using that key combo is what you should be looking to do. Along with deleting important files.
Do you throw hundred dollar bills in the trash also? Maybe because they are dirty or they are taking up to much space in your pocket or wallet?
There is no excuse, in my honest opinion, for this.
