    When I reformat, should I put in 2 partitions for Win 7, Win 8?

    My new HP laptop has a 1 TB drive. If I have to reformat anyway, should I split the drive and will the $14.99 Win 8 offer from Best Buy work on the 2nd partition?

    If you plan on dual booting your machine then you can just make one partition for now 1/2 the size of your drive or w/e you want to use for windows 7. Then when you put windows 8 on it you can just choose the unallocated space.

I made the mistake of only giving myself 64gb of space on my system files partition and need to make it bigger. Can I do this by simply making a system image with all my partitions (1 HDD) included, reformat and then load everything back where it was and have a different amount of space on each?

I got a BSOD during a reformat after I deleted all partitions on my computers hard drive. I have retried to install Windows 7 but I keep getting the BSOD during the installation process. I will post the numbers it gives me as soon as it does it again. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
