I think you're just trying to store more data than your HD is capable of.
That means you need to get a bigger HD or another HD for Steam Games.
You could remove 3 games and recover over 50GB of space for a quick fix.
Looking back to post #5 it shows two 465 GB HD's.
D is labeled "Games and Tools".
C is labeled "Hard Drive C".
Where are you installing Steam Games to, "C:" or "D:" ?
How many HD's and what size do you have in this PC?
Can you post a maximized screen print of Disk Management?
I'll probably get one at christmas, I was planning to install Steam on the other hard drive but, I don't know. I dont think it'll have enough room when I clear it out but we'll see. Both of my hard drives are 465GB
So I've known for a while (since I got it) that my laptop has been missing more hard drive space than it should. Generally this number has been around 30 gb so I've ignored it as it hasn't affected anything. Recently though I've been having performance issues akin to low disk space. apparently i...

This has happened repeatedly, WinDirStat can't figure out what's taking up all the space, I've run disk cleanup, defragged and ran multiple different virus scans, all to no avail. Literally my entire...

I lose 1-2GB a day. I have used TreeSize to look at usage and it leaves me with roughly 27GB unaccounted for.
And what is confusing is when I lose the space it does not show up on...

For example last night I had about 21 GB free (out of total C: space of...
About 1 week from today, I installed my copy of Windows 7. I had 92.7 GB free of 123 GB by the end of the day after downloading/installing all of the programs I needed. (I'm ocd so I keep track of how much space I have in my (C) Drive after every download/install.
So the next morning I turn my...
