    Questions about Microsoft Management Console


    Not sure if I've posted this in the right area but Do tasks listed as manual (under start up) on the Services page of the Microsoft Management Console need to be listed as started under status. Also I have many programs listed as “stopped” in both processes and services tabs in my Windows Task Manager and also Microsoft Management Console can those be deleted. If so how do I do it?

    It would not be wise to do that. Some services run only when needed and then stop.

    I would recommend leaving Microsoft's Services alone.
