    What do guys think?

So I finished my first pc build a couple months ago. I originally wanted to get a new dell desktop, but one of my xbl buddies suggested that I build a custom PC. I have to say that it was the right thing to do. I started out with a GTX 560TI but a few weeks later ended up doing a step up through EVGA to the 660TI. I have played a bit of batman arkham city, looks amazing on max settings. I have not tried any other games yet, will get far cry 3 later this year. I spent just a bit under $1000. Wish I would have gone with a higher end motherboard and maybe a slightly more powerful PSU. I will upgrade the stock cpufan/heat sink to the cooler master 212 evo, in the near future. Anyways, here are the specs.

    Case: Corsair Carbide Series 300R
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
    CPU: Core i5 3570K
    GPU: GTX 660Ti 2GB (EVGA)
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP (2x4GB)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 7200rpm
    DVD: LG GH24NS90
    Powersupply: Corsair TX650M

I have a external 500gb HDD for backups, but an SSD will be my next purchase along with the aftermarket heatsink. Samsung 830 seems like a good choice.

I have a 300R housing my home server, and I have to say the case was a very pleasant surprise, especially for how cheap it is. It might actually replace the HAF 912 as my favorite case.

Thanks, took me a some times to get the cables just the way I wanted. I spent extra $15 for those rubber grommets corsair didn't include any with the 300r, but 400r had them. That 300r in the article is very nicely done.

Corsair makes some very nice cases, I really like the clean look of the 300r(nothing crazy like some other cases), really good case for the $.
