Google chrome is not visible neither are any of my music/pics or films that are on my main user profile. I have tried doing a google search to find a solution but can not make head nor tails of it. any help would be greatly appreciated

When creating a second user account, it essentially is a blank slate, or like a second computer but on the same PC. You or the new user has to install any software for that new user account.

As for Google chrome. It installs under the user account in the Appdata folder, which belongs to that one user. You can however download the MSI version of it and have the program install for everyone that may want it.

As for iTunes that also falls under the user account issue. iTunes stores the music and apps under the Music folder. Which is in the user account of the current user.

Examples of accounts
C:\Users\User1\My Music\iTunes\Media
C:\Users\User2\My Music\iTunes\Media

Both of the above accounts can have unique libraries which is good.

With that being said, it is good that the files are stored that way for how you want your setup. This way your music/apps will be kept apart and you can have your own library and music playlists without issue. But that will mean you will need to copy from the current media library to the new user profile iTunes folder.

I hope I understood your question...
