how do i type the special characters shown on my keyboard?

I figured out how to do the French characters such as è or ç, but i can't figure out the shortcuts for things such as ¢ or ¾, even though the keyboard has buttons for them.

    help? thanks.

I don't know if you can assign keys to the characters, but you can enter them
    ANSI Special Characters

and for more than you ever wanted to know about character encoding
Character encoding - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

edit: This is probably a better reference - scroll down the page to see all ASCII chars

    I feel your pain Futr,

I spent some time on Logitech looking for the manual - ha! Nice quickstart, not much help.

    Nothing useful found until.....
K400 keyboard special characters ????? - Logitech Forums

It references keyboard setups (device & in Windows regions...) and also Alt+Fn.

I thought perhaps you posted it over there =:>

    hope that helps,

    Bill
