    Unknown Files on Drive C:

    How did it appear?
    I have Avast! Free Antivirus installed on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. Unfortunately this antivirus mistakenly sees a program as a virus and moves the file to its virus chest. There is a restore function for me to use that program again. Doing this some unknown files appear and I tried to delete it but some won't. Here is a screenshot.

    Quickset is a Dell program. Do you have a Dell computer?

    An autorun in a root folder is almost ALWAYS a virus that sneaked in, so it gets run as soon as you touch your C drive. The .exe together I guess is also a virus trying to disguise as a legitimate Dell program, it's a common tactic in pendrive's viruses.

    Unless you know what both files are, delete them both right now.

    You can use Virus Total to check a file for infection;
