Library contains 2 locations in documents

    Library contains 2 locations in documents


    My Personal Documents is in my D drive in a file D/name/my documents. When I try to include this in the Library I get the following :

    Documents :

    sub folder My Documents :

    Both contain the same folders and files of 'My documents " in D/name/my documents .

    Why is this? ie Why are the same folders/files showing first as subfolders of Documents and then again as subfolders of My documents ?

    Can I have them show up only once .

    Same thing happens in Music

    I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to correct, but look at this tutorial and it might give you some hints on how to setup your files. Library - Include a Folder

    Actually everything is fine.

    When I click on Documents ( left pane) , the right pane automatically expanded the two subfolders Public and My Documents incl its contents.

    When I click on the My Documents on the left pane , the right pane shows only its contents.

    What confused me was the Contents were arranged by Type in the first case and the by Folders in the second.

    So its my fault , I made a problem when there was none .... Sorry
