A few times. it's different but I can stay in the desktop environment while I slowly get used to Metro.

Because with the right software it would make an awesome HTPC OS. And it's cheaper now then when the software comes out.

I wonder if they're jammed with calls wanting refunds because the touch buttons don't work on desktops and laptops, after punching the screen with a swollen finger furiously for hours.

it seems the issues are still not resolved. I just tried again (just for My laptop, as i still don't know what's happening with the money I already spent), and the program now constantly errors when I chose paypal (and doesn't like my Visa). So it seems they are still having problems and put a stop to prevent people getting charged for nothing. I'm just glad I only got charged the first time, otherwise I'd be out $126.

It's kind of disappointing how Microsoft outsources to companies that just can't handle the volume. At the bare minimum it should be possible to implement a queue where the system will attempt the transaction once it's not as overloaded, or a means of signalling that the system is overloaded and to try again later.
