Oh wow, someone really does not want me to get my pc going -_- we have a new problem now, looks worse...
I was just putting it on my desk after i had solved the cpu light problem (was working on it on the floor) Press On and theres a milisecond of power then goes off :'(
Changed psu's and same thing ugh
got the motherboards plastic bag beneath it to stop it from shorting (to fix the original problem)
tried only basics in mb, swapping mb's, swapping psu's.
I am so stumped, so was the technician i showed it to today D:
ima give up on computers soon lol this is mental.
Because it has happened with two motherboard you have installed along with all the other parts you have swapped I'm thinking it is the methods you use to install them. A misalignment of stand offs, guide pin or in out panel can cause damage to a motherboard. I have known of one case where/wheir the motherboard tray was made wrong and caused the motherboard not to install correctly. (Not align properly)
listen , i don't know the exact cause for your PC .. my laptop had the same problem and today the repairer told that the problem was that one ram is dead and the other is not functioning probably ....
Got it. Breadborded my motherboard, the brand new Corsair Ax850 is ****ed.
My old one powers my motherboard fine. (im sure i already tested the psu's but i confirmed it just now, so back to my first problem :)
okay putting the peices back in, it shuts off instantly with my gtx590's power plugs in, but with it still in and no power plugs then it boots up, so my graphics card is also dead ?
okay, breadboarding with just the 2 motherboard power plugs in gets the red cpu led now :/ doing the same with my other motherboard dosnt start at all.
Life can not just be easy lol.
Getting a replaced power supply and motherboard, the only things bought within a year lol
