Are you sure the message states "there was a problem loading msigbr32.dll..." There is no information on that particular "dll" that I can locate.

Have you tried SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Then try, Repair Install if there was any file errors.

    Hope this helps,

Try "regedit" to search the registry for that dll and see if it is located.

Also, try running "msconfig" and select the "Startup" tab. Is there anything in the list that looks suspect; ie, a program that may have been removed or is unfamiliar.

i have nt tried the repair install yet. of late, there is another issue of a blue screen after the screen showing "starting windows" and showing "physical memory dumping to disk". this has happened twice though after restarting the laptop was ok. on one occasion, i chose repair fom the option when i restarted the machine and they apparently colected some information and sent to microsoft. on the next occasion, i "started windows normally" since i was in a bit of hurry. dont know whether it is linked to the thread in anyway but decided to post it here. ps: i am using norton antivirus suite.

Think you may have a BSOD error, could please check the C:\Windows\Minidump for any crash dump files, and then upload them using: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

Substitute the C:\ with any partition letter in which your operating system is installed upon.

msidll.exe Windows process - What is it?

Msidll.exe has an 88% chance of being malware. try deleting it.
