    Random active window focusing issue

    Hello,

First time post, apologises if I don't include all the relevant information you require first time.

Essentially my problem is this - At a random time period the active window I have open, either clicking or typing in will lose focus despite no interaction from myself to do so, but in the Windows task bar it still shows as the presently active window.

I've already run a full anti-viral and anti-malware/root kit check before submitting this topic, I've made sure that Windows is up to date along with drivers for attached devices. It is becoming quite a nuisance now as I use this machine for writing and gaming.

Any advice you could render would be appreciated.

Hi MrTiger and welcome to Seven Forums.

So what your saying is the window that you have open will lose focus basically?

Did you do any updates or installs recently?

    Hi,

Yes the window I have open will lose focus despite no alt-tabbing or new application opening.

Windows update did occur as normal, I suppose I could roll these back to see if this helps.

    -Edit-

This has not resolved the problem, I still have windows at random loosing focus.

Already run the /SFC command, no system files damaged according to this. I have run a separate adware check this turned up one item but I suspect that it was more erroneous than a cause of this issue, still having the problem and it seems quite illusive.

Please go to this page and try this. I don't know if this will work but it has for a few people. Scroll down to the Disabling Protected Mode in Flash post back and let me know. Flash - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
