I thought you might have trouble with that because it is a logical partition in an extended partition. That`s why I gave you my suggestion, but you wanted to do it the other way.

Personally I would do it with the PW boot cd. Instant Message the other member who was helping you or try Gregrocker if he is still on.

    Shrink it.

I did like what you told me earlier.
I have installed the software too.
While the D: has empty file right now, why 19.33GB being used?
should I just ignore it? and extend the C: from D: ?

No you didn`t do it the way I SUGGESTED, you did it how the OTHER MEMBER suggested.

I told you to use the partition wizard boot cd to do it. Re-read the post.

Anyway, I just whipped one up and it would let me delete 1 of the logical drives , no problem. That`s most likely because I only had 1 primary in this example.

If PW will delete it, then delete it and extend C: to the right to take up the space. You click on C: then click resize and drag the bar all the way to the right to take up all the space.

The page file was moved to the D: partition. That is important to the OS and needs to be moved differently. I didn't really look at it too much when I made the partition changing instructions.

    To move the pagefile:

    1. in the start menu search, type "advanced settings"
    2. click "view advanced system settings"
    3. Under the "advanced" tab and in the "performance" section, click the "settings" button
    4. in this new window, click the "advanced tab"
    5. in the "virtual memory" section, it should say that virtal memory/page file is manually configured. click "change"
    6. I believe "automatically manage yada yada" is unchecked. C should be set to none, and D: should have numbers
    7. Click on D: and select "no paging file" then hit set.
    8. Click on C: and select "system managed size" then hit set.
8.1. You have very little space in your C: drive. you may need to wait on re-adding the pagefile to C: until after you extend it.
    9. click OK. click yes or ok to close all the windows until the restart prompt comes up. hit restart

I checked and discovered that Disk Manager won't let you resize an extended partition (I've been using GPT so I forgot about extended partitions)

you will have to follow AddRAM's steps to deal with the extended partition, sorry.
But these steps will help for the pagefile.
