We need to make sure you don't still have XP on D, rather than just hide it.

Did you delete the XP partition before installing Win7? If you didn't want to keep XP then you should have done that.

If you'll post back a screenshot of the file content of your D drive we can advise you better.

So XP was on C and you deleted all partitions before installing Win7? It may have needed to be wiped first with Diskpart Clean Command to clear the boot sector of interfering code before installing with only that HD plugged in.

But first: Why is there a Page File on D?

Go Start, Rightclick on Computer>Properties>Adv System Settings>Performance>Advanced, click on Change VIrtual Memory, uncheck Automatically Manage Paging File which should be what's chosen, see what drives are turned on.

If D has Virtual Memory turned on, highlight it and set No Paging File, Apply. If not, highlight C, set No Paging File, Apply, reboot and then go back to select C and Automatically Manage Paging File to turn paging file on for only C, Apply, confirm C is being Automatically Managed.

Why are you setting a Custom size? That is not recommended. This is not XP. Win7 manages these things with Genius we do not have.

Well, you know... i didn't want to do that, but my good friend who claims to know a lot about computers, said me to do this... and after 2-3 days of his insisting i did that change. But the boot problem was even before there... he said that he doesn't know how to fix it.

Where is the Program Files from? XP? What is SBK?

Did you delete all partitions or wipe the C HD before install of Win7? This problem if it persists can be bad code in the boot sector.

Otherwise if there are no other problems try installing EasyBCD (click Download - no Name or Email required) to remove the stray entries.

While installing, the setup itself makes a folder on your Hard drive.
