    Computer wont accept my password


    i restored my computer to an earlier date, september, now it wont accept my password and it wont let me answer my password hint

    i have lost everything, pictures, files, i know there there but how do i get to answer my question as i am admid

    Hello Colette, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    When you do a system restore it will also restore the user accounts' passwords to what they were at the time the restore point was created.

    If you remember what it was then, you should be able to enter that password to log on.

    You have not lost anything, as you say, everything is still there. Just don`t format and reinstall windows.

    We are not allowed to tell people how to retrieve passwords or go about hacking the system, but someone may be along with a legitimate way to help you.

    This is just my opinion: There is no reason to have a password on a non work, home pc. It causes more problems then it`s worth.
