To fix the problem temporarily, I use system restore to a previous date. When its done, the laptop restarts and it boots normally to the logon screen. When I logon I get a notification box which tell me system restore was successful or something like that. The startup repair never finds any problem and does not solve anything, when the computer restarts after the startup repair it boots up to the black screen again.
system restore ALWAYS fixes the problem? If so, reboot immediately after system is up and running... works?

Boot into Advanced Boot Options and select "safe mode". Do you see all drivers loading? Last one is classpnp.sys? What happens afterwards (can take some time)?

I Resatarted in advanced boot options as u asked me.The last item was classpnp.sys indeed. I was able to logon in safe mode. I then restarted the computer in normal mode. It worked correctly this time and I was able to logon normally to my account.
Hope it was not in coincidence!!
    Thnx a lot!! :)

boot in safe mode a lot of times, let's say 3 times in a row. Then boot normally, shutdown and boot to safe mode again. Safe mode ALWAYS works?

But can you boot to safe mode just after a black screen (and not doing a system restore)?

    Also give this a try:
system restore so you're sure it will boot afterwards. Don't boot normally but in safe mode instead, after that boot normally. Black screen as well?

Each time I boot in safe mode, I can logon normally, but when I restart in normal mode, it comes back to the black screen. The first time was a coincidence indeed. Am being compelled to use system restore each time.
When it comes to the black screen, I have no other option than to switch off manually. nothing on the keyboard works
