the driver cd is comes with webcam.. so finally its safe but m going to uncheck it from startup

If you have the install disk for the webcam, the file might be on it. If the file is from the vendor, it probably is a routine to monitor if you want to use the camera.

Sounds like we have this one solved... I hope... :)

Glad it wasn't spyware. You might want to drop the webcam folks a line and tell them that their file is causing some concern.
