Windows 7: I put windows 7 on my sister laptop, she hates it.

i do trust that you gave her a genuine copy and not some cracked version that will break before christmas. if you think she's complaining now just wait until that happens. just upgrade her to 64 bit it you can, there wont be a noticeable performance increase over what she has now, but you cant leave loved ones with the curse of vista.

You have to install Vista back for her. The user is always right (well...). When she's ready for 7, she'll ask for it. It's not what we want, it's what the consumer (your sis) wants.

Windows 7 is not a religion that you have to convert everyone to... Allowing her to have her own opinion is a part of being a mature big brother, now what are you waiting for, make her happy...

Just install Avast home it's free just have to register and it isused by a bunch of seven users, Check it out Download FREE antivirus software - avast! Home Edition and it isn't all bloated like McAfee
