Clean re-install with no discs... possible?

    ok, thanks for the tip, Icit... getting it all together right now, may start tonight... just double checking that all my files/data are backed up... trying to find install discs for all the software I want to re-load... deciding what to jettison...

    I have a band that played in Gold Coast in 07, Coolum the following year... it was funny both times, the Saturday right around Jan 26, which I had no idea going in... I had to ask, do they always drink like this, party by the thousand in the afternoon, and yell oy oy oy! so much... but the locals clued me in, what the party was all about... went to Byron bay, a great day that was... what I remember of it...

    Clean re-install done... man this thing runs great now... shoulda done this ages ago...

    now to reload ProTools and get back to work... tomorrow... thanks for the help gents!

    Great to hear Harry mate just one last thing if you want to squeeze a litle more speed out of it at the slight expense of the transparent windows frame etc they Brinks tutorial - it's my Bible chapter and verse.

    Only takes a few minutes and I am sure you will be pleased with the result anything you change if you don't like it they can all be reversed and it won't cost you a cent well except for the electricity

    Pro Tools may be something to avoid too, if it is a tweaking tool.
