Hide left Windows 7 Navigational Pane items?

Now I know of the tool 'Windows 7 Navigation Pane Customizer' but how would I go about renaming and removing the sub-categories? Looked around on Google and everything kept coming up that tool.

    -- Thanks in advance :)

    Hello CosmicPoptart,

You could use the tutorial below to hide these folders for them not show their anymore. However, this will hide these folders everywhere, and not just here.

File and Folder - Hide or Unhide

    Hope this helps,

I've already done this. But they're only hidden in the main window. When I right click them in the Navi. Pane and go to properties, it already says that they're hidden. They've been hidden (in the main window) for quite sometime. But never hidden in the Navi. Pane.

Are they still display if you view them from your user folder under "Computer" in the navigation pane?

If not, then you could remove the separate "User Folder" group from the navigation pane to use the "Computer" location instead to not set them.

I just deleted them except Desktop. I have it hidden, but I don't care for desktop being in the navi. pane because I sometimes use it. : P Thanks though!
