    Windows run in classic mode, with no sound/internet/usb function etc.


    I noticed an update was available for windows, or maybe it already updated. But when I tried to click on the little flag in the task bar it said it could not connect to windows server. I tried restarting my computer and thats when everything went crazy. The brightness automatically lowers, it looks like it is in classic mode, no sound, cannot use usb, nothing will open it shows it is trying but thats all. I dont know what I did or what happened. I tried to upgrade it to windows 7 ultimate but i am getting an error with that. If I buy the windows 8 upgrade would that work and fix the problems or would I need to reformat the hard drive and completely reinstall windows. Thanks for any help.

    Sounds like you have bugs in your OS or some major hardware failure.
