    Location of Fax & Scan?

I deleted the Windows Fax & Scan shortcut from the start menu. Where can I find the app?

Easiest way would be to press start and type Fax and Scan

    Check out:

Windows Fax and Scan Shortcut - Create

    C:\Windows\system32\

    File is named: WFS.exe

"Send and receive faxes or scan pictures and documents."

    Cam,

I see that you found a solution to your problem but
this is so strange, that if, procedure was followed correctly then you have other problems which will rise up and bite you.
    would you please do following:
WIN key (that's the one with the funny looking wavy flag on it)
type Fax in the Search box
    Enter key

    Possible reason...?

I, too, deleted the Windows Fax & Scan shortcut, and when I went to search for it, I, too, could not find it.

    Why? Here's my theory...

The SHORTCUT was named "Windows Fax & Scan", but the PROGRAM is called "wfs.exe". The shortcut was deleted, but the program remains, unaltered from it's original 'wfs.exe".

If you do a search for wfs, it shows up right away. Thanks to this thread, I knew what to search for.
